Welcome!
I have been a teacher at Alhambra High School since 1992 and previously taught English in addition to Drama. I currently teach beginning and advanced levels of Drama and Musical Theatre.
I am originally from New York and I have a Masters in English Education from New York University. I’ve had the honor of directing and producing more than 50 plays and musicals, including our productions here at Alhambra. The AHS Drama Club produces two full productions each year: a fall play and a spring musical. In my classes, students will work collaboratively in a positive and creative setting to find their voices and explore dramatic and musical techniques. We will utilize a variety of material from Shakespearean scenes to modern monologues to well-loved musicals. It's my hope that the confidence built during class exercises will serve students well on stage and throughout their lives!
