Chromebook Checkout and Insurance

IMPORTANT!

The information provided below about insurance is only for your information.  Insurance cannot be purchased until the device has been checked out to your student because you must have the serial number for the device.  This information is provided by a 3rd party, is optional and may be purchased once your student has been issued the device.

Chromebook Checkout

Before students can be assigned a Chromebook, they must return a Equipment Checkout Agreement with a parent or guardian signature.

Buying Chromebook Insurance

Students are responsible for the cost of replacement or repairs for Chromebooks that are assigned to them.  Alhambra High School has partnered with Worth Ave Group to offer reduced rates for optional Chromebook insurance to reduce this liability.  After you have been assigned a Chromebook, you may apply for this insurance online at http://my.worthavegroup.com/martinezusdca or by completing the Student Laptop Insurance Application .
